Youtube Rewind is a timeline of the best video’s or the most number of hits that hit our screen’s for 2011 . Youtube has become such an important medium for the world to share video’s irrespective of where you are from. In total, there were more than 1,000,000,000,000 (one trillion) playbacks on YouTube this year , that’s a crazy number but my feeling is its going to get bigger and crazier this year!

Last year’s sensation Rebbeca Black countdown’s the biggest video of 2011. No points for guessing who was on the top spot but i can tell you this much, Kolaveri didnt make the list!

BTW – How the heck did Neon Cat get 50Mil hits?!

MUGAPUTHAGAM – SHORT FILM

Stumbled upon this short movie on Youtube and boy was i impressed. I have this mental block about short movies but with the influx of low-budget movies making it big on screen’s i watched this one. It’s a short 20min movie about a bunch of 4 friends who are on the look out for love, via the internet of course.

This one manages to pack in some humor, suspense and even a song in typical tamil movie style!

Trailer : The Hobbit

After more than a year, the trailer of The Hobbit is finally out!The movie it coming out on the 24th of December 2012. So we are still about a year away before it hits the screens.

To be honest i was expecting much more from the trailer but im guessing the producers dont want to give away too much, too soon.

The Dictator

Borat is back, this time as “The Dictator” , The heroic story of a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed. This movie is planned to be released in May 2012 and it sure looks good! Megan Fox, also stars in this movie so it should be very interesting!
