Respect 
We easily take this value for granted. How many times have you cursed a Bangladeshi? or a Indonesian? How many times have you heard your boss comparing you to a admin clerk when he/she is not happy with your work?
Not good! I make the mistake all the time (much less now) by disrespecting people. Everyone is in a particular place for a reason. You cant insult the guy building houses, if he doesnt are you going too? You cant insult the guy who makes sure your toilet papers are loaded and you have a clean place to answer to nature’s call, are you going to do it?
Its a extremely simple act and its a important one. Respect every single person you come across irrespective of their social standing, qualification or job. If you are a boss, it does mean you are better than your staff as a human being. If we respect each other it will work out nicely..

31st of August 2010 marks the 53 years since independence back in 1957. Its a celebration to remember the day we became a independent country from the British rule and become a nation of our own. Its a long time since we became a entity of our own, many leaders came and went. Many politicians came and went,some inspired ..some not so but that has contributed to where we are today.
For me this Merdeka is much much more than what we are told its supposed to be. Yes, it was not easy getting where we are but if we keep using that as a excuse, its going to be a challenge moving forward. Remember the work of those who got us here, but also remember they did what they had to do.. it was their job!

Inspire
Inspiration is something that drives people. When people are inspired, they can do things that they normally dont think they would have done.
Example :
Tony Fernendes inspires Malaysians that if you have a dream, go out and get it because its not impossible.
Probably one of the few inspirations that you can draw from in Malaysia. Managers, Bosses should inspire their team to do well in what ever role that they perform. When they do, results will come without much effort.
While we seek for inspiration, you should also try to inspire friends, family, young or old. Sometimes the people dont see the obvious but reminding or reflecting that to them will drive them to greater heights.
